Coiled Cable Testing Process
- 1. Electronically test the cable at high voltage
- 2. Measure diameter and length
- 3. Hang with a 2lb. weight and measure length
- 4. Hang with a 4lb. weight and measure length
- 5. Flex Test - Run 10,800 cycles ( 450 cycles/hr x 24 hours ) while being electronically tested once per second
- 6. Measure diameter and length
- 7. Hang with a 2lb. weight and measure length
- 8. Hang with a 4lb. weight and measure length
- 9. Electronically test the cable again at high voltage
- 10. Hyper-Extend and release
- 11. Measure diameter and length
